Revitalized and directed historic small press, now one of the most active presses in the University of California system. Coordinated all aspects of planning, editing, designing, printing, marketing, selling, and distributing hundreds of CSRC books, periodicals, and media. Hired, trained, and supervised eight employees, including editors, a designer, a programmer, and business staff. Responsible for keeping all projects on deadline and under budget. Administered all legal matters, including copyright, licenses, and contracts. Took the center and press fully online.

Copyedited scholarly books and journals for Oxford University Press, Routledge, University of California Press, Ohio University Press, Harcourt Brace, National Museum of African Art, and UCLA departments.

Senior Editor, UCLA African Bibliography Project, Los Angeles, CA, 1989-1992.

Edited an electronic and print bibliography on contemporary Africa. Abstracted 2,000 books and articles. Copyedited 17,000 citations and proofread 1,300 pages of text.
